Today started out with mowing the grass as the job of the day. after only about 1/4 of the project was complete the mower had a problem. Handy me, I discovered the trouble and learned the closest place for the part needed was Terrell. So off we go to get what we need.

After acquiring the part and making the drive out here, I wanted to see more. So, we drove down Main St. to have a look around. Lunch was discussed and I landed on “The Terrell Cafe” as an appropriate lunching spot for local flavor.

With our hunger satisfied and a free coffee mug from the new found cafe, we headed home. Within minutes after getting home I was back on the mower cutting the grass. And there’s plenty of it too. Once entering the back yard and beyond the dog Spot must trot along and inspect nearly every pass. Just to keep me company I suppose.

Spot helps me mow.

Regardless of the work, breakdowns, and side trips; it was a great day.
