Nose following….
It’s a funny thing to “follow your nose” and see where it leads. When I got on the road toward Crater Lake National Park the long uneventful drive through California’s Central Valley allowed the mind to wander. Well, that can sometimes be a good thing because it causes the nose to point another direction than you originally expected.
Today was one of those days. It turned out to be quite pleasant too. As I passed near Redding California the nose pointed me off the freeway and, wandering, I found myself at “Turtle Bay Discovery Center” and this great footbridge.
This bridge actually functions as a sundial with markers placed around the perimiter of a garden at the North end. I was enthrawlled with the grace and design of it all.
This was an interesting diversion from the supposed direction. Now lets see what else happens while the nose is in charge….
