This afternoon was such a nice day and the driving was clear and easy from Shore Acres to the Siskiyou National Forest just South of Powers, Oregon. There I returned to a rare and favorite place that, for some reason, I’m drawn to whenever in this area. The rocks, falling water, trees and plants around Elk Creek Falls is just magical for me. So, the remainder of this afternoon was devoted to enjoying this little spot in the middle of the forest.
